I. Description of the product:
The CNR is one of the rubber derived products, which is modified from the natural rubber through chlorination. Itfinds wide application in the production of coatings, inks, adhesives, etc. The company has a working capacity of 5000 tons of the CNR with advanced technology and fine equipments. The quality of the product is stable and reliable, and hence trustworthy and well received by the customers.
II. Product Name:
Commercial name: Chlorinated Rubber(CR/CNR)
Chemical molecular formula: (C10H11CI7)n
CAS No.: 9006-03-5
III. Process:
CNR products production process: Chlorinated rubber products are produced by dissolving natural rubber in non-ODS organic solvents and then through a series of technica I processes including chlorination, neutralization, desolvation analysis, centrifugation, washing, and drying.
IV. Functions and applications of chlorinated rubber:
It is applied in coatings to remarkably improve their properties such as weather-resistance and water resistance, insulation, inflammability, anti-acidity, anti-alkali, adhesion as well as antiimpact strength. Specifically it is widely applied to surface protection of materials in extreme conditions, such as in shipping, offshore platforms, bridges, docks, containers, motor vehicle chassis, road signs, chemical equipment, etc.
Additionally, high viscosity chlorinated rubber is applied to high-strength adhesives production, or added into other rubber products to improve its quality, while the low-viscosity product is applied to high-grade ink manufacturing.
