Flash point: 212.8ºC

Stability: Light sensitive Slight yellowing of phenytoin does not affect its potency. When refrigerated, the solution may form a precipitate which will usually dissolve when heated to room temperature; however, do not use if the solution is not in storage condition. Storage should be close to the laboratory where it will be used so that only a small amount of the solution needs to be transported. Carcinogens should be kept in one storage area only, using an explosion-proof refrigerator or freezer as required.
