Ethyl carbamate, commonly known as polyurethanes, has the chemical formula C3H7NO2, is a white solid at room temperature and pressure, slightly soluble in water, and carcinogenic. Ethyl carbamate is one of the raw materials of polymer material polyurethane (also called: polyurea ethane).
