Aluminum hydroxide, chemical formula Al(OH)3, is a hydroxide of aluminum. It is a kind of alkali, and because it shows a certain acidity, it is also commonly called "aluminum acid" (H3AlO3 or HAlO2-H2O), but the actual reaction with alkali produces a tetrahydroxyaluminate.
