Aluminium hydroxide, with the chemical formula Al(OH)3, is a hydroxide of aluminium. It is a base and is also commonly known as "aluminic acid" (H3AlO3 or HAlO2-H2O) because of its acidity, but the actual reaction with the base produces a tetrahydroxyaluminate.
